Plot Summary:
Li Peiru (Shu Qi) is a young, beautiful Beijing-based real-estate agent from Hong Kong meet with a lonely heart local policeman Fang Zhendong (Liu Ye) at a karaoke in Beijing. Despite the fact that Peiru has a boyfriend is married man, but she finds a comfortable protector in Zhendong who remains single to take care of his kid brother Zhencong (Tian Liang). As Peiru gradually give up her materialistic values and falls in love with the good hearted Zhendong, but Zhendong makes some tough decisions about his future when he is suffering from a disease of vascular dementia.
